With this in mind we are going to talk about the pros and cons of choosing to Naturally Miscarry.

What does it mean to naturally miscarry?
In this case Naturally Miscarrying is referred to miscarriage without the aid of medical intervention. Allowing your body the chance to process on its own.

Pros of Naturally miscarrying
All natural:
Your body is AMAZING and knows what to do.
Cheaper:
You will not have to pay hospital fees and extra doctor bills.

Being in the comfort of you own home will help you to relax and focus on the difficult task at hand.

Cons of Naturally Miscarrying
Spontaneous bleeding:
Once you being to actively miscarry the bleeding can last up to two weeks. In various amounts and sizes.
Cramping:
The cramping can be more intense and last longer since your body is trying to clean itself out.
Waiting to actively miscarry:
Though you had a confirming ultrasound and have chose to wait to naturally miscarry, sometimes your body is slow to kick in. Waiting can feel like an eternity, especially when you are emotionally upset.

Supportive Story: When I had a confirmed miscarriage at my 10 week appointment my body had not started to actively miscarry. Had I known at 8 weeks and chose to wait to naturally miscarry that would have been a 2 1/2 week wait! (Miscarriage #1)

Every individual miscarriage experience is different. Please keep in contact with your doctor. They should tell you what to expect and when to call them.
