Survive pregnancy in COMFORT with these 5 top must haves!

Pregnancy is hard enough without the nausea, headaches, leg cramps, achy back, and restless nights to battle! Since we can’t wish them away our goal is to survive!

Yes, survive our pregnancy as “comfortable” as possible.

Plus, the more comfortable we are the easier it is to find joy in the amazing miracle of actually growing a human!

After personally having 5 successful pregnancies I want to share some of my favorite tips and tricks for surviving pregnancy as comfortable as possible.

I hope they bring you some comfort too!

5 must haves for a more COMFORTABLE pregnancy!

1. Ginger drops

Ginger drops are some of my absolute favorite tools for battling pregnancy nausea. Since nausea can strike anywhere, at any time, and the severity level is unknown. Prevention is the best!

That being said ginger drops are a small hard candy you suck on, easy to carry, and have many different flavors you can choose from. My current favorite flavor is Ginger Raspberry!

2. Tums

My next favorite tool for battling pregnancy nausea is Tums! Tums can easily soothe the stomach by neutralizing the stomach acid. I call it my “quick fix” while I’m waiting for some food, quickly making something to eat, or my stomach is just upset.

Tums are small, easy to carry, and chewable. They come in packages with multiple flavors. I don’t mind the chalky texture too much, but having a good drink of water helps wash it down.

3. Electrolyte Drinks

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate is key to surviving your pregnancy with comfort!

Basically hydration with electrolytes play an essential role with surviving your pregnancy in comfort. Check out all these benefits!

With attention to these benefit how can you not hydrate with electrolytes!

Personal Story: One night I woke to a SEVERE lower leg muscle spasm that lasted for 10 minutes and left a notable bruise on my calf! I started hydrating with electrolytes faithfully after that!!!

The best is to start by ordering the sample pack so you can know what flavors agree with your pregnancy. Then try one a day until you find a favorite or two that work best. My favorite two are Piña Colada and Mixed Berry!

Mixing Tip: Pour the powder mixture into fourth a cup of water. Stir together until well combined. Then add remaining water and a big handful of ice.

4. Belly-Band

As your body begins to grow during the pregnancy, your center of gravity shifts. Your back, muscles, ligaments and joints begin to fill the pull of the extra weight.

A belly band helps to distribute the weight to your hips. I loved using the belly band while grocery shopping, working around the house, going on walks, doing yard work, and/or anytime when I was just standing.

5. Nature’s Willow

Without a doubt pregnancy muscle pains are no joke!

Your body is literally stretching and pulling every minute of the day. Not to mention the extra weight pushing pressure on your legs and joints.
